Cologne, Germany’s fourth biggest metropolis, is located in the western part of the republic, in North-Rhine Westphalia north of the former capital Bonn. The river Rhine separates the city into a left (including Old Town) and right part.
You may easily acces via car, train or bus, long-distance coach and airplane.
Note: We highly recommend to use the local public transportation system on race day!
Should you nonetheless want to or are forced to use the car navigate to the numerous P+R stations in Cologne and proceed via local public transportation with your VRS ticket free of charge (on your bib number) directly to the starting area in Deutz. Attached to your bib number please find an additional ticket for an accompanying adult and 2 children (until the age of 14 years) for travelling in the entire VRS area on race day.

The starting area will be located next to Deutz station (Bahnhof Deutz) on Opladener Straße. Please access this area on race day via highway Autobahn A3, exit at junction Autobahnkreuz Köln-Ost (27) via B55A towards downtown (Köln-Zentrum), Deutz. Waze | Google Maps
Parking lots with costs may be found in LANXESS arena car parks (EUR 5.50).
via bus and train
Please make use of the P+R stations from where you have easy access with your VRS online ticket to the starting area in Deutz. On your bib number you will find an additional ticket for an accompanying adult and two children (till the age of 14) for using trams and busses within the entire VRS area on race day.

via long-distance coach
New stops for long-distance coaches are the terminal for long-distance coaches at the Cologne Bonn Airport (Fernbusterminal) and the suburban train station (S-Bahn-Station) Leverkusen-Mitte.
From there you make use of the public transportation system (KVB or VRS) to the starting area in Cologne-Deutz.
